Our finances
Like all choirs, we have operating overheads that need to be paid for. The fees that we charge almost cover the cost of the venue hire, musical director and accompanist fees for practices and performances throughout the term, and other expenses.
Fees can be paid in one of two ways as follows:
Fees can be paid in one of two ways as follows:
- Casual Payment Option: If you come on an infrequent basis then you can pay casually each week that you attend.
- Term Payment Option: If you are a regular participant, you can get a discount by paying.
Communications
All Choir Members have a name badge. Please wear your badge and remember to return it at the end of the session because this is how we keep track of attendance. Your name badge can be picked up from the table before practice starts (or at the break if you arrive late). Please return your name badge after practice to the box located by the exit door.
We maintain a secure email address database that is used to send out choir notices, or to advise of other choral activities that are likely to be of interest to our singers. We appreciate and respect singers' willingness to provide us with their email addresses and undertake to use 'Blind Copy' addressing, (to prevent your email address from being seen by other recipients), and to not send out bulk emails for any other purpose.
Please advise any email address updates to our Secretary Liz Willmott at [email protected].

Organisation
A small number of singers comprise the 'Core Group' who volunteer to manage the administration of the Choir. Members of the Core Group are identified by pink name badges. Please contact them if you have any queries or suggestions.
From time to time, we may ask members of the Choir to volunteer to undertake specific tasks. Often, people just see what's needed and step in to help, for example, reminding people to put their badges back at the end of practice or helping with setting out and putting away chairs.
We thank you for helping to keep the Choir running!
