Courtenay Place Light Boxes – Ko Te Reo o Ngā Tāngata | The People’s Voice

A new outdoor exhibition has opened on Courtenay Place featuring one of our singers! Go along and see what Debbie McGill has achieved!

“Debbie McGill, talks about starting up The Fixery in 2018, workshops for tenants to be more sustainable by creating, fixing, and restoring items.

“Instead of throwing things out, we would try and restore things. So someone might bring down an old chair, or the handle that has come off their jug. They can try fixing it themselves.”

Thursday 30 March – Galeforce Gospel – Movie fundraiser

The Penthouse in Brooklyn on Thursday 30th March at 6.15pm.

A really fun movie – Red, White and Brass – is on offer, with a great musical theme.

Red, White and Brass follows the story of Maka, a Tongan superfan, who will do whatever it takes to get tickets to the Tonga v France Rugby World Cup game — even if that means promising to deliver a brass band for the pre-match entertainment. Only problem is, the band doesn't exist and Maka has four weeks to make one. Inspired by a true story. (85mins)

Tickets available from Humanitix.
