Welcome to the website of the Wellington Community Choir: the friendliest and liveliest choir in the city of Wellington, New Zealand.
We have been singing together since June 2005 and specialise in learning and performing choral music from different traditions around the world.
Anyone can come and sing in the choir at any time; there are no auditions and no complicated membership formalities. There is no requirement to be able to read music.
We aim to provide all people, whatever their background or ability, an opportunity to sing together and celebrate the warmth and vitality generated through music making.
Come and join us
Come and join us and find out for yourselves how much fun it is to sing with us. We practice most Wednesdays (except during school term breaks and holidays) from 7 to 9 pm (doors open from 6:30) at the following address:
Te Whaea: National Dance & Drama Centre
11 Hutchison Road
