This year's choir trip is to Nelson, where we will be performing in the Nelson cathedral together with some local Nelson choirs. The trip leaves Wellington by ferry on the Friday evening, accommodation will be arranged in Picton, and on Saturday morning we will travel to Nelson in time to practise with the local choirs, eat dinner and go to the concert. There will be a friendly party together after the concert at our accommodation. On the Sunday, we will return to Picton, with stops and fun on the way, in time to get the evening ferry back to Wellington.

All the food, ccommodation and transport will be organised by the choir (except dinners on the ferry). The cost for the trip will be $175 per person. However, the idea of the choir is that it is accessible to everyone. So if $175 feels too expensive and would put you off coming, please talk to Nicky or one of the other choir core group members and we are happy to have a lower price to suit you ($150, $100 or $50). Some people have already taken up this offer and we're glad they're coming.

We need to secure bookings for accommodation and travel as early as possible so, if you'd like to go to Nelson, you will help A LOT if you can sign up for the trip (at the Wednesday practice) as soon as possible.
